ImageAmerican Freedom Radio/Truth Jihad Radio is hosted by Kevin Barrett, a former college professor who undertook an investigative journalism-activism career.

On October 28, 2011, Kevin and Jan discussed on the air some critical issues of the day concerning social change, the Occupy movement, the vulnerability to oil dependence, and what the ultimate result may be from tumultuous upheaval.

The hour program is in the second hour of this broadcast recording; move cursor to half-way point after advertisement and a song-excerpt by David Rovics: americanfreedomradio.com.

Additional topics of our discussion: the leveling of social status come collapse; dynamics of oil supply in world market; oil extraction peak; demise of the corporate economy; Jan's origins as an oil industry analyst, and implications for social change and a sustainable culture.

Jan gets going after several minutes preliminary conversation to become animated. See if you're in agreement with him and his host, and let us know what you think!

i chose to quit driving
got a buss pass and an ebike to get around
there are no excuses
it can feel inconvenient sometimes, especially when having to wait for a bus in the midst of toxic foul fumes, and all the noise from them but the ebike can give one a real sense of freedom over those expensive automobiles that truly are our WMDS
and hey,I'm a senior,so again, no excuses!
i use it all year round in CANADA
